Neubeginn!

Hi, I'm Max. In “Neubeginn!” I talk openly about depression, addiction, relapses and suicidal thoughts. Not to make everything heavy, but because I've experienced how much lighter it gets when you can talk about it.

It's about the hard days and the small wins in between. About courage, which sometimes simply means getting up again the next morning. And about the experience that nobody has to walk this path alone. (The podcast is in German.)

You'll hear stories from my life, just as they were: no filter and no hero pose. Plus conversations with people who have found their own fresh start, and with people who support others through hard times.

Sometimes it gets serious, sometimes we laugh. Both belong. At the end of every episode, I want something to stay with you that gives you courage or simply makes you feel a little less alone.

You don't have to start with episode one. Pick a topic that speaks to you right now and listen whenever it suits you: on a walk, on your way to work or in the evening on the sofa.

Maybe you've come through a crisis yourself, found a way out of addiction or lost someone to suicide. Or you work with people going through hard times. Then I'd love to hear from you.

I also tell my story live: at schools, in companies, at clubs and events. Open, personal and with the goal of talking about mental health instead of staying silent.

Topics can include living with depression and what really helped me. Addiction and relapse, and why failing can be part of the journey. How we talk about suicide and how we can reach people who are affected. Or mental health in everyday life and at work. Write to me and we'll figure out together what suits you.
