Who is behind ALBERT?

Me, Max. My name is Maximilian Albert Obauer and I run ALBERT on my own from Werfen in the Austrian state of Salzburg. I choose every product myself and pack every order myself. You can read more about me and why ALBERT exists on the Albert?! page.

What does “self-care for all 5 senses” mean?

Every product belongs to one sense: smell (candles and room scents), taste (tea), touch (shirts), sight (greeting cards and postcards) and hearing (my podcast “Neubeginn!”, in German). The idea: one small, mindful moment through a single sense is often enough to arrive back in yourself.

Where do you ship and how much does shipping cost?

Austria: €4.90, free from €59
Germany: €6.90, free from €69
EU: €12.90, free from €95
Switzerland: €17.90. Swiss VAT and customs clearance fees may apply.

How long does delivery take?

I usually pack your order within 1 to 3 working days. After that, delivery takes 2 to 3 working days to Austria and Germany, and 4 to 8 working days to the EU and Switzerland.

Can I track my order?

Yes. As soon as your parcel is on its way, you'll receive an email with the tracking number.

Can I return something?

Yes, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from receipt, without giving any reason. A short message to me is enough. You bear the cost of the return. If an item has been used more than needed to try it out, for example a candle that has been lit or a shirt that has been worn, I have to deduct the loss in value. You'll find everything under returns and complaints.

What if something arrives damaged?

Please send me a few photos to hello@helloalbert.shop. I'll take care of a replacement or refund and cover the cost of the return.

How can I pay?

By credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay or PayPal. You'll see which payment methods are available to you at checkout.

Why is no VAT shown?

ALBERT is a small business under § 6 (1) 27 Austrian VAT Act (UStG). That's why no VAT is shown on invoices. The prices in the shop are final prices.

What are the candles and room scents made of?

The candles are poured by hand in Salzburg from rapeseed wax with organic oils and a cotton wick. The room sprays and scent oils contain organic essential oils and no synthetic fragrances. You'll find the scent notes and how to use them on every product page.

Are the shirts unisex?

Yes, all shirts and long sleeves have a unisex cut. You'll find the sizes on each product page.

Is there a newsletter discount?

Yes. If you sign up for the newsletter and confirm your email address, you'll get 10% off your first order.

Do the products or the podcast replace therapy?

No. What I share is my own experience. My products and my podcast are not a substitute for medical, psychological or psychotherapeutic advice or treatment. If you're not doing well right now, you'll find numbers on the podcast page where you can get help around the clock.
